Overview

Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW)

For stainless steels 316, 316L, 318, 303, 309, 310, and 329. Gemini B TIG is designed for welding molybdenum-bearing stainless steels where superior corrosion resistance is required, including chemical processing and marine environments. Produces clean, porosity-free welds with excellent as-welded ductility.

Quick Specs

  • Diameters: 1/16" (1.6mm), 3/32" (2.4mm), 1/8" (3.2mm)
  • Use DC straight polarity (DCEN) with Argon
  • Marked by Yellow Tip

Applications

  • Clean base metal thoroughly before welding
  • Use short arc length for best puddle control
  • Post-weld brushing recommended with stainless brush
