Overview

Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW)

For stainless steels 301, 302, 303, 304, 308, 321, and 400 series. Gemini A TIG produces sound, porosity-free welds on stainless steels with excellent corrosion resistance. Ideal for joining and overlay applications where matching stainless base metal is required.

Quick Specs

  • Diameters: 1/16" (1.6mm), 3/32" (2.4mm), 1/8" (3.2mm)
  • Use DC straight polarity (DCEN) with Argon
  • Marked by Pink Tip

Applications

  • Clean base metal thoroughly before welding
  • Use short arc length for best puddle control
  • Post-weld brushing recommended with stainless brush
